The Athletic Training Circuit, (ATC)

All of us have admired the long lean athletic physiques that are featured every four years at the Olympics. Why do they look so long and lean while the rest of us just seem to get shorter and bulkier from exercise? Are they doing something different?
Yes, they are! They do not just spend hours lifting weights or "doing aerobics". These athletes do DYNAMIC training. They do a variety of high speed exercise activities that stimulate "Fast-Twitch" muscle fibers, the fibers that produce the special look that athletes have: lean, agile and graceful.

The Athletic Training Circuit (ATC) at GET FIT! Athletic Training, targets these muscle fibers through sets of special high speed exercises that stimulate Fast-Twitch muscle conditioning. The amount of work that these exercises make you generate in about ONE HOUR equals almost 4 HOURS of traditional weight lifting. Wouldn't you want to burn more calories in less time every time you exercise?

The Velocity Enhanced Resistance Training (VERT) computerized exercise machines have been used for training Olympic athletes for many years. The "isokinetic" resistance has been a mainstay of athletic rehabilitation for over 30 years and is used to safely rehabilitate after surgery. Modern computers have now brought this process of high speed resistance training to all of us. Now, you too can train at the speed of life and maintain that feeling of youthful agility forever.

Ever get bored walking on a treadmill or sitting on an exercise bike? If you get bored with exercise, imagine becoming the player in a video game. A game where you have to move to make the player on the game screen move. Imagine playing "Space Invaders" and having to move forward and back, left and right, or fast and slow in order to evade the invaders and score points. Getting bored yet? Hook up the pulse rate monitor and the game will play with you at an intensity that will keep you in your heart rate training zone for up to 30 minutes. Feel like sitting on a bicycle now?

Finish the ATC with interactive floor exercises (plyometrics) that are designed just for you. You have now exercised like an athlete! You have stopped isolating your muscles and are now teaching them to work together. In just a very few workouts, you will feel a remarkable change. Muscle soreness disappears while at the same time performance and strength improves. Activities that you thought were lost to youth can now be recaptured.

The ability to move with agility decreases as Fast-Twitch muscle fibers atrophy, starting at age 25. To regain Fast-Twitch" fibers, you cannot exercise slow. You must exercise at the speed of life.
